Friday at the fair

Chloe Ponder worked hard on her mini projects for this year's fair. She and her mom, Kala Ponder, checked them in last Saturday.

Today is all about 4-H with the Jamboree of fun at 10 a.m. In the show arena Friday night will be the 4-H mini showmanship where the younger kids get to show their skills by showing sheep, hogs and goats. This is followed by the best-of-the-best 4-Hers in the Supreme Showmanship contest.

Cook and Belle will entertain at the top of the hill while Thunder Valley Raceway does its thing in the grandstands.

This will be the last night to see 4-H animals as they will start to be released late Friday night.
