All precincts have reported

Cumlative, unofficial results show that for US Representative District 9, Erin Houchin has won Washington County with 1,834 votes.  Of other local interest, J Davisson finished with 550 votes, and Mike Sodrel 405. Other county results, which will decide who will advance to the General Election in the fall will be in The Salem Democrat.

Gary Byrne won Washington County for State Senator District 47 with 1,990 votes to Kevin Boehnlein's 1,121.

Locally, Republican Brent Miller will face  Democrat Jack Jeffries for Washington County Sheriff in the fall election. Miller finished with 2,286 votes to Blevins 808 and Overshiner 282.

Sherri Wingler comes out on top in the WC Assessor's race, 1.969 to Greg Ball's 1,100.

Republican Gerald Fleming received 492 votes to Ryan Watson's 307 votes for the County Council, District 1, In District 2, Joe Walker moves ahead with 314 votes to Tonya Marshall's 300 votes. This was one race that remained close throughout the night. Walker was strongest in Howard and Posey townships.

Republican Jennifer Bowers advances as Monroe Township Trustee candidate, Brenna LaDuke pushes through at the end with a 6 vote victory over Jeff Clem.for the general election Keep in mind that these are unofficial results.

Jr. Sullivan remains as Polk Township Trustee and Ken Armstrong also remains as Posey Township Trustee for the Republican party, unless oppossed in the fall.
