Weapon's Pro donates to Pekin
Weapon’s Pro in Salem donated a breech kit to the New Pekin Police Department.
Deputy Marshal Abby Powers said after responding to an accident the week of Thanksgiving on Shorts Corner Road they realized there was a need for something to help herself and Marshal Jeff Thomas get into vehicles or homes. They spoke with Weapons Pro and they were able to get one donated.
“We sent the owner a thank you card,” Powers said. “That’s going to help us even getting in houses, whether it be emergency or criminal or vehicles.”
The breech kit contains a halogen tool, an ax, and a third tool she didn’t describe, all with a carrying case.
