Snow in the forecast?

When will Washington County receive the first significant snowfall of 2021? The Salem Leader and ACE Hardware of Salem are asking readers to give their best guess of the date and you could win a prize!

Contest Rules:

• Guess the date of the first significant snowfall (Jan. 16, 2021 or after).

• Snowfall must measure at least 2 inches according to the National Weather Service.

• Only one entry per person.

• Hurry, deadline to enter is Friday, Jan. 15, 2021. 

• A drawing will be conducted from correct entries for a Snow Package (snow shovel, bag of ice melt and a pair of gloves) courtesy of ACE Hardware of Salem.

• If no significant snow falls by March 31, 2021, all entries will be in the drawing for a Spring Package courtesy of ACE Hardware of Salem!
