Senior center set to reopen

The Salem-Washington County Senior Center is planning to reopen after months of being closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Opening day is planned for April 5.
Members are reminded that if you are not feeling well or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms to stay at home.
Other guidelines for opening include the requirement of facial coverings and social distancing. Those attending the center are encouraged to get a COVID-19 vaccination.  
Upon entry, you will be asked to sign a COVID-19 liability waiver.
Anyone age 50 and older is invited to join the Salem-Washington County Senior Center. Annual membership dues are only $10.
The center is located at 1705 N. Shelby St. Regular hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call Naomi Raye, director, at 812-883-4986 for a schedule of upcoming events or for more information on reopening guidelines.
