Floor Action:
The Retirement Proxy Protection Act: This bill, which I sponsored, would prevent the politicization of individuals’ retirement accounts. No longer will your financial interests be sidelined in favor of far-left environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities that don’t benefit you or your future.
The End Woke Higher Education Act: This legislation is designed to make sure our students are getting the education they deserve—free from political indoctrination and also includes my Students Bill of Rights Act. It holds colleges and universities responsible for failing to protect free speech. Higher education should be a place for learning and growth, not for promoting one-sided agendas.
Prioritizing Economic Growth Over Woke Policies Act: This bill, which included my No ESG Act, will strengthen our financial system, preserve the dominance of U.S. capital markets, and protect the financial interests of investors from the current administration’s woke takeover.
Other Action:
Farm Bill Letter: With the 2018 Farm Bill set to expire, I joined a group of House Republicans in a letter to leadership urging them to act. With skyrocketing production costs and fallen commodity prices, farmers and producers cannot wait until next Congress for the enactment of an effective farm bill. We are working to bring H.R. 8467 to a vote on behalf of farmers, ranchers, and rural communities.
