Hands-on learning at EWES

In recent years there has been a push in Education to take some of the student learning out of the text book and into the real world. One of the ways educators and community members have put that into reality at East Washington has been with a real-life popcorn patch.

Elementary students recently harvested popcorn from the garden earlier this week. 

The seeds were planted by students last spring.

The project was made possible by the Washington County Master Gardeners and the Eastern High School FFA!
