Eastern Winter Guard posts highest score of season

The Eastern High School Winter Guard recently competed at North Harrison and posted their best score in recent history.
Coach Ame Hein said it was certainly their best score this season.
The score was so good, Eastern had to move up in class.
Members of the team are Bianca Garcia, Brooke Sease, Bailey Morrow, Mia Shanks, Ariel Shepherd, Ann Wright, Haley Knasel, Zoe Fraiser, Sydney Kaelin, Addison Harris, Grace Morris, Lillie Perry, Leia Richards, Payton Grovesner, Ruby Carter, Anabelle LeMaster and Abby Short.
Hein said she is aided by a wonderful group of parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles who help out.
Those include Sara Morris, Kevin and Kathy Sease, Jimmy and Amanda Shanks, Roger and Vanessa Edwards, Josh and Lisa Morrow, Victoria, Vivian, and Sophia Shanks.
“Then, we had several monetary sponsors that have helped us this season: Jason Pepmeier Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, Nix Miller Designs, Success Mortgage Partners, GKN, Edward’s Plumbing and Excavation, The Crafty Camper, and Brenda Richardson.”
The Eastern guard will be back in competition March 25, for the championship. If they are able to finish in the top nine they will advance to the finals on April 1.
