Crop Nutrient Series

Purdue Extension – Washington County invites field crop producers to participate in the “Crop Nutrient Series” scheduled for March 18, 23, and 25, 2021 from 10:00-11:30 am.   Taylor Purucker from The Mosaic Company will present about the crop nutrient “Sulfur” at session one on Thursday, March 18.  Glenn Longabaugh from Premier Ag. will cover “Calcium & Magnesium” during session two on Tuesday, March 23 and “Other Essential Micronutrients” during session three on Thursday, March 25.  Participants have the option to join the program virtually or in-person at the Washington County Fairgrounds (118 Fair St., Salem).  Registration is required viahttp://bit.ly/cropnutrients by Tuesday, March 16, 2021.  Registered participants who wish to participate virtually will receive the link to join the program via email at least one day before the program.  

Farmers wishing to receive private applicator recertification program (PARP) credit will need to register online, attend all three sessions, and pay their $10 PARP fee.  If attending in-person, payment can be made at the March 25 session.  If attending virtually, the payment may be sent to Purdue Extension – Washington Co. via the registration form found online at https://extension.purdue.edu/Washington by March 25.  

Commercial applicator credits for Category 14 are pending approval.
