"I Am They" concert Nov. 13

Truelove Ministries along with Blue River Wood Products in Salem presents “I Am They” in concert Saturday, Nov. 13, at Southern Hills Church.

This concert will be free to the public and seating will come on a first come first serve basis. It will begin at 7 p.m. with special guest John Tibbs with “I Am They” taking the stage shortly thereafter. “I Am They” is a Christian
band formed in Carson City, Nevada. The group has a unique instrumentation sound led by a three-part vocal harmony -- Matthew Hein, Abbie Parker and Brandon Chase.

With Matt and Brandon on acoustic guitar/vocals and Abbie on vocals/keys, the band is rounded out by Justin Shinn on keys, and Nicole Hickman on drums. The name was inspired by John 17 and created with the intent to adopt on a personal, individual level. As Jesus prays in this chapter, He consistently refers to His disciples as “they.” It is important to each band member to be the “they,” that Jesus referred to.

For the last several years Truelove Ministries and Blue River Wood Products have worked together to bring concerts to the Washington County community. In past years artist such as Todd Agnew, Mark Schultz, Phil Wickam, and the band Carrollton have made visits to Salem for these concert events.

This year, Truelove Ministries would like to extend a special thank you to Southern Hills Church for the use of their facility, as well as Salem Community Church for the help in making the concert event happen.
