Christmas is coming to Salem Assembly

The congregation of the Salem Assembly of God invites the public to experience their Step into Christmas event this weekend at the church.

There will be Christmas inflatables and lots of colorful lights. In addition, Santa will be available for photos, and reading of the nativity story. A live nativity scene will also be on the church grounds. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available while a Christmas movie is playing.

Lots of fun and fellowship will be available. Friday, Dec. 2, the event starts at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3, activities start at 8:30 p.m.

The church is located at 1701 S. State Road 135, in Salem. On Sunday, Dec. 4, the church will be having a reindeer meet and greet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Santa is flying them in for this special event. Guests are invited to come out and meet the animals, have pictures taken and talk to their trainer.
