Ash Wednesday service at CUMC

Canton United Methodist Church will be hosting an Ash Wednesday service on Wed., Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. The imposition of ashes will be administered in such a way that no two persons will be touching either the ashes or another person.  Masks and social distancing will be required.  

In addition, The United Methodist Women are sponsoring a “Give It Up For Lent” collection.  Each person attending will receive a garbage bag in which they can put at least one item in for the next 40 days of Lent.  These items will be given/donated to the United Methodist Women’s spring yard sale (date to be announced).  Once individuals have their bags completed, they can contact the church and a pickup will be arranged, if needed. 

CUMC is located at 1412 N. Canton Rd. (left at the 4-way stop in Canton).
