Pamela Louise Giles, 69, Hardinsburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on August 9, 2017.
She was born on April 10, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky to Clarence E. Osborne and Gladys Louise (Johnson) Osborne. Pamela had been a manager for several local BP gas stations in the area. She was a member of the Kay’s Chapel Methodist Church. Pamela enjoyed bird watching, especially hummingbirds, and collecting milk glass.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 34 years, Greg Giles. They were married on July 30, 1984.
She is also survived by her mother, Gladys Louise Osborne; a daughter, Angela Louise Smith (Mark); a grandson, Michael Greggory Reynolds (Amanda Shawler) and a granddaughter, Amanda Louise Reynolds (Michael Daly); a great-granddaughter, Madison Stewart and two great-grandsons, Dayton Reynolds and Kiernan Shawler; two sisters, Barbara Russell and Melissa Coy; and two brothers, Peter Osborne and Jeff Osborne.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Clarence E. Osborne.
Cremation has been chosen by the family with a graveside memorial service to be held Monday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. at the Kay’s Chapel Cemetery near Hardinsburg.
