Lawrence E. Hawn, 87, Little York, IN, died April 12, 2017 in Scottsburg Indiana. He was born August 24, 1929, in Gibson Twp., Washington County, IN to Willie Hawn & Kizzie Bryant Hawn.

He was a veteran of the US Army, where he served in Korea. Hawn retired in 1984 from United Steel Workers American Can in Austin.

He was member of the Little York Methodist Church; Little York Gibson Twp Volunteer Fire Dept.

He is survived by his wife Naomi Caulk Hawn and daughters Connie (Rick) Reeves, Sellersburg, Janice (Steve) Clem, Jasper and Nancy (Lary) Cropper, Georgetown. Also grandchildren: Brian Reeves, Kyle Lawrence Reeves, Joey (Tony) Clark, SSGT Daniel (Mandie) Clem, and Jonathan Cropper and 4 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brother Lloyd Hawn, Brownstown and sister, Bonnie Otte, Seymour.

Hawn was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers John Hawn, Harold Hawn, Roland Hawn; and sisters Margaret Bush, Amy Newby

VISITATION: 4 PM - 8 PM Friday April 14, 2017 and 10 AM - 1 PM Saturday April 15 2017 at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home, Scottsburg.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1 PM Saturday April 15, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Little York Cemetery.

Rev. Stan Mohler & Rev. Lary Cropper will officiate. A special Military Graveside Service, will be performed by the American Legion #234 with grandson SSGT Daniel Clem presenting the flag.
