Edith Zella (Motsinger) Loveday, 89, passed away on Sunday, April 16th, 2017 in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born on January 8th, 1928 in Pekin, Indiana to Ernest N. and Gertrude (Robison) Motsinger. She married Donald Loveday on May 28th, 1947 in Pekin. He preceded her in passing in June, 1996.
Edith is survived by six children, Donna Sue Dismore; Terry Loveday; Michael (Julie) Loveday; Carol (Russ) Dray; Ernest (Penny) Loveday and Anthony Loveday; twenty-one grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Mary Grigsby and one brother, Ernest Motsinger.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Donald; son, Patrick Loveday and siblings Hugh Motsinger, Mable Meaders, Paul Motsinger, Eula Clemmer, Roy Motsinger and Jesse Motsinger.
She was employed by Johnson Memorial Hospital as a Coronary Tech and later retired from Norplex Corp. in Franklin, after several years of dedicated service in 1986.
She was a member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Franklin. In her earlier years, Edith enjoyed painting and writing poetry. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Elder James Clemmer will conduct a service on Wednesday, April 19th at 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with calling on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
