The Bradie Shrum Elementary hand chime choir, under the direction of Duane Davis, will present a spring program on Monday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Bradie Shrum Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room. The program will feature hand chime music performed by the select group of second graders through the entire performance season. Also, the choir will be performing music with steel drums. These “Jumbie Jam” steel drums, an instrument popular in Island music, were provided by donations from a private benefactor and the Washington County Community Foundation. Admission is free and the public is welcome. Please contact the school at 812-883-3700 with any questions.
