WW takes down EHS, Salem beats North Harrison on the road

Football season is back in Washington County and two teams got off on the right foot on Friday night. West Washington pulled away in the second half against Eastern to win 38-8. Eastern kept the game close for three quarters, trailing 16-8 in the third, but the Senators rallied and slammed the door to win the season opener. Salem trailed eary in the contest with North Harrison, but the Lions rushing attack propelled them to a 27-13 win to start the season 1-0 for the first time since 2016 and it was the Lions first win over North Harrison since 2014.
