WOW supports local schools
Carol Hickey, with WOW, presented badminton equipment to Brent Ingram at West Washington.
Working on Wellness (WOW) used proceeds from the annual Frostbite 5K to purchase PE equipment for all three county school systems.
Each school was able to submit a request for equipment they needed. Here's what West Washington's Brent Ingram had to say:
"Tami, just wanted to reach out and say thank you again for the equipment. We have been wanting to implement badminton into our curriculum for awhile now and will be able to do so. And the training bands are a big plus to our resistance training which we are looking to do more of. Thanks again!"
