Unified team to play basketball April 14

The Salem High School Unified team will hold a basketball game Saturday, April 14, at 6 p.m. at the high school. There is a great mix of current and past SHS students and Washington County Special Olympic athletes participating.

The announcer will be Jacob Thompson. Referees are Brandon Carroll and Bradley Gramlin. Jolee Dean and Lexi Garloch will work the clock. Greeters will be Amelia Pellman and Ciara Cole. CJ Swift and Levi King will be the mascots and Kaden Hebard will sing the national anthem.

There is no set admission cost. All donations accepted will benefit Special Olympics athlete Jalen Pigg, who is battling leukemia.
