Still no perfect score in Pigskin Picks

Pigskin Picks winner

Players in Leader Publishing Company’s Pigskin Picks Contest came very close to claiming a cash prize from Mid Southern Bank, as the top two only missed one game each.

MSB is sponsoring the Gridiron Mania portion of the contest where a perfect score garners the winner a cash prize. The cash increases by $50 per week, if there are no perfect scores. At the end of the 10 weeks, if no perfect card is turned in, everyone who played will be entered into a drawing to win $500.

Thomas Weeks claims first place and a $30 Country Cookin gift card. His nemesis was the South Dearborn versus Madison game, where S. Dearborn prevailed. Second place this week goes to Steve Early. Early is on a roll, winning last week’s contest. He will be dining at Mamma Rosas. His miss came from a game a little closer to home, Corydon versus Paoli with Corydon coming out victorious. Weeks was chosen as the winner based on the tie breaker score.

Good luck to all the contestants next week. Keep shooting for the perfect score and next week’s cash prize of $150.

Leader Publishing employees are playing along with bragging rights on the line.

Through two weeks, Richard Deaton leads the way with a 19-10 record, Josh Lewis is second at 18-11, George is third with a 17-12 mark and Tom and Nick Brough are bringing up the rear.
