Salem advances to sectional semi-final

Way back on January 11th Scottsburg beat Salem by 24 points, 73-49. Fast forward to Wednesday night and the Lions had some payback on their mind as they turned the tables on the Warriors to beat them in the opening round of sectional play 59-55. Salem was led in scoring by Landon Suvak who had 19 points, including three triples in the first quarter. Gavin Fleming came in in the fourth quarter and gave Salem a boost and added 11 points in the game.
The Lions will play Corydon on Friday night in the semi-final round at 7:30 p.m. at Charlestown High School.
