Rockin’ Ricky’s Turkey Run goes virtual

Due to the increase in COVID numbers in the state and the additional state restrictions, the Richardson family has decided to go with a virtual 5K event for 2020.

The family said because we don’t want to see anyone go hungry during the holidays, or at any time of the year for that matter, we still encourage those who would have attended, to donate to the Washington County Food Bank. After all, that’s what it’s all about.

A member of the Richardson crew will be at the Washington County Fairgrounds picnic tables on Thanksgiving morning (November 26) from 7:45 – 8:30 a.m. to collect donations from anyone who wants to make a drive-by donation. You can also mail or drop off your donation at the Washington County Food Bank at 106 N. Water Street, Salem, IN 47167. They are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Please post selfies or pictures on our Facebook page (VIRTUAL Rockin’ Ricky’s (15th Annual) 5 mile walk/run) as you do the event from home this year, so we can see how many participated!

Thank you for understanding and we hope to see you all in person next year.
