Lions’ tennis tops Musketeers

The Lions’ tennis team topped the Musketeers 3-2 on Thursday when the two squared off as the regular season comes to a close. Landon Suvak won the number one singles match for the Lions while Tucker Chism won the number two singles for Eastern. Mason Dillon was victorious in the number three singles match for the Lions. The number one doubles team of Sam Everage and Caleb McClellan won for Eastern, while the Lions number two doubles team of Shawn Hubbard and Drew Stout provided the tie breaker for Salem to win the match.

#2 Singles: T. Chism (E) def. E. Shelby (S) 6-3, 6-1

#3 Singles: M. Dillon (S) def. C. Smith (E) 6-4, 6-1

#1 Doubles: S. Everage/C. McClellan (E) def. G. Fleming/A. Minton (S) 6-0, 6-1

#2 Doubles: S. Hubbard/D. Stout (S) def. D. Beach/C. Fleming (E) 1-6, 7-6, 6-2
