Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

Saturday evening, shortly after 5:30 p.m., trooper Brett Walters with the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg made a traffic stop on Highway #150 at Lapping Road in Hardinsburg, on a black Honda Accord for a traffic infraction. During the traffic stop it was discovered the driver of the vehicle, Jason A. Hill, 34, from Carlisle, IN, was driving without a valid driver’s license. 
During a search of Jason A. Hill’s person and the Honda Accord, trooper Walters located over 30 Grams of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Syringes, Eight Controlled Substance Pills and Paraphernalia.
Jason A. Hill was placed under arrest and while being booked in at the Washington County Jail corrections officers located more Methamphetamine in Jason A. Hill’s underwear.
Jason A. Hill was charged with: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Syringes, Trafficking with an Inmate and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
