Justin Shelton, 22, Salem, was arrested and charged with selling heroin to Jacob Dodson, who died after overdosing on said heroin in October 2018.

Police used Facebook conversations obtained during Dodson's death investigation last fall, along with wifi and GPS location records from his phone to track his movements to Shelton, who later admitted to selling Dodson the drugs.

Jerry Lee Carson, Jr., who was arrested last fall after hiding Dodson's body on his property, said he had driven Dodson to Shelton's house, then to a gas station where Dodson injected the drugs, before going to a field off Rush Creek Road, where Dodson eventually overdosed and died. Carson said he was afriad and hid Dodson's body under a trailer on Wheeler Hollow Road.
