5 arrested in Pekin drug bust

At 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, Washington County Sheriff's Deputies and Pekin Town Marshal Jeff Thomas were serving an arrest warrant at a home located at 522 Charles St., in Pekin.

A news release reports while officers were at the front door, Amy L. Boes, 32, Pekin, ran from the back of the house and was arrested after a short foot pursuit. The wanted subject, Tony Boes, 55, Pekin, was found in the bathroom with illicit items in plain view, which led to a search warrant on the residence.

Arrested at the were:
Amy L. Boes, 32, Pekin — resisting law enforcement and warrants in Jefferson and Floyd counties.
Gary L. Lathem, 50, New Albany — visiting a common nuisance.
Jessa D. Parker, 33, Pekin — visiting a common nuisance.
Teresa D. Neely, 49, Pekin — visiting a common nuisance.
Tony L. Boes, 55, Pekin — maintaining a common nuisance, possession of heroin, possession of herion with intent to deal, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to deal, possession of a legend drug, possession of methamphetamine, possession with methamphetamine with the intent to deal.
