William Cavanaugh

William “Paul” Cavanaugh, age 35, Hardinsburg, died at his home on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018.

Paul was born on May 7, 1983, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a jack of all trades but particularly liked working in the construction trades and tinkering with electronics. Paul was an avid collector of all things Marvel and Matchbox cars. He enjoyed fishing and spending time on Blue River.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clarence Osborne and William T. Cavanaugh, grandmother, Gertrude A. Cavanaugh, an aunt, Pamela Giles, and a nephew, Gabriel Sprinkle.

He is survived by his parents, William Cavanaugh and Melissa Coy,  step-father, Michael Coy, his grandmother, Gladys Osborne, three sisters; Stefanni (Rusty) Sprinkle, Meghan Combs, and Sara Coy, nieces and nephews; Devin and Khloey Sprinkle, Ryleigh Combs, and Jaelyn Copeland.

Cremation was chosen with a graveside service to be held at Kays Chapel Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
