Trina Lynn Gilstrap

Salem: Trina Lynn Gilstrap, age 42, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018, at U of L Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Trina was born on October 23, 1975 in Corydon, IN to Gary Sizemore and Charlotte Hitner. She was a 1995 graduate of West Washington High School and a former employee of Hickory Creek nursing facility in Scottsburg, IN where she worked as a CNA. She loved helping others and was very passionate about caring for her patients. She enjoyed gardening, riding motorcycles, being outdoors, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Sizemore, one sister, Chrissie Lawton, an uncle, Reverend William Puckett, and a beloved uncle, David Sizemore.

Survivors include her husband, Harley Gilstrap, two children; Ashley Woodward (Zach) and Austin Woodward, a step-son, Broc Gilstrap, her mother, Charlotte Hitner (Allen), maternal grandparents; Jim and Cathy Puckett, paternal grandmother, Vernice Adam (Jim), three sisters; Bridgette Bezy (Cory), Cat Ferree (Karl), Sharon Renee Wilkins, three brothers; Justin, Jacob, and T.J. Sizemore, and two grandchildren; Colton and Kynlee Walton.  

A funeral service will take place at Love Funeral Home on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Love Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Central Barren Cemetery.
