Thelma May Jackson, age 90, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on October 13, 2018 at the Salem Crossing. Born on March 23, 1928 in Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Harry Williams & Grace May (Brocar) Williams.

Thelma was retired from Bata Shoe Company. She was a home keeper and care giver of children for many years. She was a member of the Salem Nazarene Church.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Mildred Bobbitt of Illinois, and Opal Montgomery of Taswell, Indiana; brother-in-law, James Bobbitt of Hardinsburg, Indiana; 10 step children; several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Ray Jackson; 3 sisters, 3 brothers & 1 step son.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Winslow Cemetery. Michael Wilhite will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
