Tammy Lynn Kemp, age 50 of Salem, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at her home in the loving arms of her husband and daughters.

Born May 12, 1968 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Grace Colleen (Treadway) Talbott.

She was a retired radiologic technologist at Baptist Health Floyd.  Tammy was a collegiate volleyball player at Indiana University while earning 2 Bachelor's degrees.

Tammy married Jeff Kemp on November 15, 2002 and was a loving wife to her husband and mother to her 2 daughters: Abigail, 14 and Caroline, 11 and her 2 stepdaughters: Nichole and Elizabeth.

Tammy was an ALS warrior who fought a good fight, but sadly lost her life to this terrible disease.  The family wants to thank her close friends and wonderful community for the love and support they have shown her through this brave struggle.  Tammy stayed positive and always had a smile for everyone who knew her.

Funeral Service: 6:00 pm Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Visitation: 4 to 6 pm Tuesday.
