Ruth Isabel (Webb) Allgood

Ruth Isabel Allgood, 84, of Spencer, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at McCormick’s Creek Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing.  She was born January 31, 1933 in Bloomington to Charles and Ena (Michael) Webb.  She worked for 25 years at S.T. Semicon and then as a CNA for Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center until her retirement.  She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Bloomington and enjoyed making ceramics, knitting, embroidery, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her children, Michael (Karla) Allgood of Spencer and Paul (Jenny) Allgood of Salem, grandchildren Kenny Allgood, Randi Crady, Bruce Allgood, Kelli Allgood, Bryan Allgood, Misty Allgood, Shannon Allgood, Ashley Countryman, and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Phillip “Bill” Allgood, a son, Kenneth Allgood, and nine siblings, Loren “Bud,” Ira “Fat,” Rex Alvin “Peck,” and Daniel “Boone,” Webb, Dorothy Sullivan, Irene Easton, Emogene “Gene” Marley, Mary “May” Keller, Violet “Purp” Goodman, and Charlie Webb.

Funeral Mass will be held 1pm, Friday, January 19, 2018 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.  Father Daniel Mahan will officiate.  Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm Thursday and 11am until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
