Rondal Wayne “Brad” Partin I age 74 of Salem passed away Sunday, January 6 at his home.

Mr. Partin was born June 17, 1944 in Blackwater, Kentucky the son of Charles E. and Rebecca H. Jones Partin. He was retired owner of Partin & Sons Auto Salvage and Used Cars. A former member of the Washington Co. Fair Board, and the Salem Lions Club. He was an avid fan of racing, and the UK Wildcats.

Brad is survived by his wife: Dora Smith Partin, married August 18, 1962. A son: Rondal W. Partin II (Toni) of Salem, three daughters: Goldie Troncin (Darrell), Roxanne Ridener, and Mary Partin all of Salem, a brother: Charles Partin of Chicago, Illinois, five sisters: Gaye Denham, Priscilla Brewer, Jan Baker, and Donna Ross all of Salem, and Connie Partin of New Albany, three half-sisters: Janet Truskowski, Jennifer Partin, and Melissa Reiff all of Hamilton Ohio, eight grandchildren: Amanda Cox, Darrell Troncin Jr., Dorryann Ridener, Rachel Heathcock, Katelyn Ridener, Jocelyn Partin, and Ava Partin, and 3 great-grandchildren: Jaxsen Cox, Mavrik Cox, Adlar Cox.

He is preceded in death by two brothers: Bobby and Jay “Boot” Partin, a sister: Peggy Partin, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
