Remona Allison

Remona  Allison, age 82 of Campbellsburg, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 8:28 pm, in Baptist Health Floyd. Born August 22, 1935 in Manchester, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Ora  (Holcomb) Reid.  She was a retired employee of the West Washington School System, retiring in 2006, was a former employee of the old Bata Shoe Company in Salem and she had been a resident of Washington County since 1953 and was formerly of Manchester, Kentucky.
   Remona married March 28, 1954 to Paul Allison, who survives.  Also surviving are: 3 Sons: Billy Wayne Allison of Camden, Ohio,  Jeffrey L. Allison of Goodland, Indiana and Patrick S. Allison of Winlock, Washington;  1 Daughter: Zena Beth Petty of Campbellsburg; 1 Brother, 5 Sisters, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter and 4 great granddaughters.

 

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home.

 

Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and 10 am until the time of the service on Wednesday.

 

Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
