Randall Losson

Martinsburg, IN: Randall E. Losson, age 89, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 5, 2018.

Randall was born on September 3, 1929 in Martinsburg, IN to Merle and Susie Losson. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Randall was very active in the Martinsburg community, donating many hours of his time to help with projects and events. He was a charter member of the Jackson Township Fire Department where he was Fire Chief for many years. He served as deacon for the Martinsburg Church of Christ and worked on the Martinsburg Cemetery Board. Randall was a retired appliance service technician for the Billy Martin Store. He later worked in the maintenance department for the Washington County Hospital.

He is proceeded in death by his son Jerry Lee Losson, his parents Merle and Susie Losson, a sister Virginia Losson, and a brother Norman “Bud” Losson.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Marilyn Losson, his son Jerome (Jeanie) Losson, two grandsons; A.J. Losson and Adam (Courtney) Losson, a sister Norma House, and a great-grandchild Ryker Losson.

Funeral services will be at Martinsburg Church of Christ at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Visitation will be on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Love Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. and again on Saturday at Martinsburg Church of Christ from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Martinsburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Martinsburg Cemetery, c/o Craig Martin, 10295 S. State Rd. 335, Pekin, IN 47165.
