Pamela Barnard

Pamela S. Barnard, 58, of Columbus, Indiana, passed away on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on November 29, 1961, in Jeffersonville, the daughter of the late Estill D. Barnard and Barbara Ann (Batman) Barnard.

Pam graduated from Salem High School in 1982 and was a member of the Mt. Eden Christian Church in Little York.  She was a huge I.U. basketball fan, liked to work puzzles, play hand games and watch Hallmark Christmas movies.  Pam also loved to collect Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.

She was preceded in death by her father, Estill Barnard.

Survivors include her mother, Barbara Ann Barnard of Columbus; a brother, Dennis (Patricia) Barnard of Little York; two sisters, Penny (Shawn) Hasten of Ft. Myers, Florida and Paula (Steve) George of Columbus; an aunt, Betty (Charles) Lainhart of Scottsburg; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service: 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept.  24, 2020, at Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Stephenson officiating.  Funeral services may also be viewed on Collins Funeral Home's Facebook page at 1 p.m. on Thursday.

Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  on Thursday at Collins Funeral Home. Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed. Please follow the CDC’s recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive mandate. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Scottsburg.  Memorial contributions may be given to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg.
