Ova L. Graham

Ova L. Graham, 92, of Vallonia, died at 5:30 p.m. on January 10, 2019 at his home.  He had been ill for 1 year.  He was a Navy WWII Veteran.  He was a retired truck driver for Dawson & Baker.  Ova was a member of the V.F.W and the American Legion of Salem. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and shooting pool.

Ova was born on October 4, 1926 in Mitchell, IN to the late Bert & Ottie (Barlow) Graham. On October 23, 1954 he married Pauline (Brim) Graham and she survives in Vallonia.  Other survivors include his children, Linda Lowe of Salem, Kathy (Doug) Martin of Salem and Charles Graham of Vallonia; grandchildren, Angela (Ralph) Bobo, Larry (Melissa) Lowe, William (Lucy) Lowe, Jackie Kellar, Dana (Ronnie) Perry, Robert (Gina) Alexander, Jennifer (Jason) Sohl, & Josh Graham; 18 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Ova was preceded in death by his parents, 3 children-- Connie Duarte, Michael Graham & Shirley Graham, 3 brothers—Bill, Herschell, & James Ora Graham, a sister—Mae Friedly, 2 granddaughters—Tristan Dehart & Shalonda Lowe, and a grandson—Christopher Lowe.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia.  Friends may the visit the funeral home Sunday, January 13th from 2-6 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.  Burial will take place at the Vallonia Cemetery with full military graveside rites.  Memorial contributions may be given to the VFW of Salem.
