Mr. Monroe Quillen age 83 of Angola passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehab in Angola.

Mr. Quillen was born January 10, 1935 in Letcher County, Kentucky the son of William and Martha Wagers Quillen.  He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a retired factory cabinet maker and an avid fisherman.

Monroe is survived by two sons:  David and Darren Quillen both of Angola, three daughters:  Donna Towers of Lagrange, Indiana, Dorothy Riggle (Tim) of Noblesville, and Deanna Money (Fred) of Angola, his significant other:  Bessie Money of Angola, a brother:  Ralph Jake Quillen of Pekin, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother:  Woodrow Quillen, four sisters:  Princie Honeycut, Minda Short, Maria Purlee, and Eddie Collier, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-7PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of services.
