Mrs. Maxine Lois Brough age 86 of Salem, passed away Thursday, December 6 at Bee Hive Assisted Living in Scottsburg.

Maxine was born August 5, 1932 in Salem the daughter of Harry Forrest and Olevia Boling Winslow.  She was a homemaker, a member of Canton Christian Church and a former 4-H leader.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Avis Brough, two brothers:  Roger and Burl Winlsow and her parents.

She is survived by a son:  Robert Brough (Carol) of Salem, two daughters:  Bonita Purlee (Larry) of Salem and Kay Owsley (JD) of Campbellsburg, her companion:  Bob Strange of Salem, two brothers:  Roy Winslow of Kansas and her twin:  Max Winslow of Salem, five grandchildren:  Zachary Purlee, Seth Purlee, Clayton Owsley, Savannah Hartsfield, and Katelyn Trees, and six great-grandchildren:  Addison Purlee, Kamden Purlee, Harper Hartsfield, Remi Hartsfield, Graham Owsley, Spencer Owsley, and Eustacia Purlee.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
