Mrs. Margaret A. Brown age 84 of Salem passed away Sunday, September 16, at St. Vincent Hospital, Salem.

Mrs. Brown was born September 1, 1934 in Campbellsburg, Indiana the daughter of Lawrence and Hazel Holsapple Perdiew.  She was a former employee of B.F. Goodrich and Jean’s Extrusions.  She was a member of Salem Wesleyan Church.

Margaret is survived by her husband:  Melvin Brown.  They were married April 13, 1995.  She is also survived by one son:  Kary J. Brown (Marie) of Salem, a daughter:  Linda K. Drerup of Butler, Indiana, 6 step-children, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her siblings:  George, Helen, and Jean, one grandson and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
