Lucy Thompson

Mrs. Lucy Sizemore Thompson, age 78, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 14^th in her home, surrounded by family.

Lucy was born December 25, 1941 in Clay County, Kentucky the daughter of Willis and Nannie Smith Sizemore.

She is survived by her siblings:  Estill Sizemore of Hazard, Kentucky, Mandy Chapman of Hazard, Kentucky, and Paul Sizemore of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  She is also survived by her children:  Cookie Baker of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Ronnie Deaton of Fredericksburg, Indiana, Tonya Gregory (Terry) of Hardinsburg, Indiana, Lavada Poynter of Palmyra, Indiana, and Bob Deaton of Hardinsburg, Indiana, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, siblings:  Kenneth and Bob Sizemore, and a daughter:  Vicky Baker.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Hardinsburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from Noon-until time of service.

Due to Indiana mandates, visitation and service will be limited to 50 people.  Masks are required to be worn and social distancing practiced.
