Mrs. Linda L. Lewellen age 76 passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, August 5 at her son’s home.

Mrs. Lewellen was born February 6, 1942 in Clark County the daughter of Eugene and Bernice Smith Callahan. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband: Wilbur Lewellen, a daughter: Chlita Lewellen, a brother: Ray Callahan, a sister: Regina Gilstrap, and her parents.

She is survived by her son: Wilbur “Jay” (Michele) Lewellen of Salem, a half-sister: Lillian Jeanne DerOhanian, a grandson: Dakota Lewellen, a step-granddaughter: Kim Nesmith, two faithful fur babies: Spotty and Corkey, and multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 P.M. at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. and Wednesday from 9AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
