Leisha Smith

Leisha Gayle Smith, 52, Salem, died on June 29, 2018, at 3:15 p.m. at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

Born Dec. 17, 1965, in Paoli, she was the daughter of Randal N. and Donna (Shirley) Jones.

She was a former RN for Kindred Health Care of Clarksville, and a member of East View Baptist Church in Paoli.

She married Brian Scot Smith, Salem, on April 15, 1995, who survives.

Other survivors include a daughter: Sarah Alyce Ehlers, Corydon; a son: Branson Scot Nelson Smith, New Albany; a brother: Steven N. Jones, Orleans; her mother: Donna Dillman, Paoli; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents: Willie Shirley and Myrtle Ann Shirley; and paternal grandfather, Charles “Polly” Jones.

Visitation will be at McAdams Mortuary, 500 SW 1st. St., Paoli, on Thursday, July 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6, at 1 p.m. at the mortuary with Brother Ryan Dillman officiating. Burial will follow at Paoli Community Cemetery.
