Larry Nickels

Larry Nickels, 78, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Salem, passed away peacefully August 7, 2019 at his home. He was born June 12, 1941 in North Middletown, Kentucky to Elmer and Ruth Nickels. On October 27, 1962 he married Ruby Nickels.

He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Salem. He retired from United Airlines and served 3 years in the Navy and 22 years in the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father and one granddaughter.

Larry is survived by his mother, Ruth Nickels, Salem, his wife of 55 years Ruby Nickels, Arizona, one daughter Tami (Paul) Branaman, Salem, and one son Chad Nickels (Esther Gaskill), Arizona. Also, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 sister Ruth Ann Stites and 2 brothers Jerry Nickels and Frank Nickels. A private service will be held in Tucson.
