Joyce Rufing

Greenville, IN: Joyce Elaine (Brown) Rufing, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Baptist Health Floyd on November 4, 2019. She was born May 14, 1952 to Thomas Albert and Naomi Marie (Wiseheart) Brown. Joyce married Roger Rufing on December 21, 1968

She worked at and retired from Floyd Memorial Hospital. Joyce was a member of Greenville Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing with her grandchildren, and being a part of her church prayer group.

Joyce is preceded in death by her father, and a sister Carolyn McCain (Fred).

She is survived by her mother, husband Roger Rufing, son Jason Rufing (Donna), daughter Diana Rufing -Satterley (Mike), four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers Donald Brown (Malinda), and Frank Brown, three sisters Barbra “Sue” Berry, Luann Browning (Bobby), and Rowena Knasel (John).

Funeral services will be at Greenville Christian Church in Greenville Indiana on Thursday November 7, 2019 at 11a.m. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.Visitation will be Wednesday November 6, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Love Funeral Home, and again on Thursday November 7, 2019 at Greenville Christian Church from  10 a.m. till time of service.
