Jo Ann Polen, age 63, passed away on December 14, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.

Jo Ann was born on September 3, 1955 to William Hardin and Barbara Ballew. She worked for many years as a sales clerk for the gas stations of Palmyra, IN. Jo Ann loved fashion and enjoyed collecting clothes, jewelry, and hand bags in her spare time.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Pamela Hardin and Susie Durbin, and a brother Bobby Ambers.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Bryan) Sneed, three sisters; Ruby Bowling, Linda Bary, and Cindy Ambers, a brother Gerald Ambers, two grandsons; Jacob Sneed and Justin Sneed, and four great-grandchildren; Emma Sneed, Ellie Sneed, Cohen Sneed, and Braxtin Sneed.

Funeral services will be held at Love Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation has been chosen by the family.
