Mr. Jerry G. Myers, age 81, of Salem, passed away Sunday, October 6 at Meadowview Health Care and Rehab.

Mr. Myers was born March 26, 1938 in Medora, Indiana the son of Claude and Nellie Myers.  He retired from Childcraft Industries in 2000 after 40 years.  He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, Salem Moose Lodge, and Salem Senior Citizens.  He was a former member of the Salem Eagles, F.O.P  and V.F.W.

Jerry is survived by his wife:  Newanna Howard Myers, of Salem and one nephew:  Dean Murphy.  He was preceded in death by a step-daughter:  Joyce Rainbolt, a sister:  Jean Glor and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11AM-time of service.
