James Arthur Collier

James Arthur Collier, 98, of Sellersburg, died May 8, 2020, at his residence.

He was born in Wise County, Virginia, on Sept. 12, 1921. He was a retired electrician for the Westmoreland Coal Company. He attended the First Baptist Church in Pekin.

James is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Virginia R. Collier and two sons, David and Roger collier.

Survivors include one daughter, Anetha (Don) McCarty, two sons, Earl (Wanda) Collier and Dean (Brenda) Collier, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral arrangements and burial will be private and have been entrusted to the Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes.  

Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
