Mr. James Allen Camp, age 48, of Salem, passed away Saturday, September 19 at Norton Audubon Hospital.

Mr. Camp was born May 29, 1972 in Xenia, Ohio the son of Thomas Henry Camp Sr. and Shirley Willison Camp.  He was retired from Jeff Boat and a member of the Salem Moose Lodge.

James is survived by his wife:  Tonya Sue (Swindler) Camp.  They were married February 14, 1992.  He is also survived by two sons:  Shawn Camp (Jessica Edwards) and Thomas Camp both of Salem, two daughters:  Sarah Camp (Kevin Chumbley) of Pekin and Jessica Camp of Salem, his mother:  Shirley Camp, two brothers:  Joe Camp (Tammy) of Pekin, and Dale Camp (Sue) of Jamestown, Ohio, four sisters:  Sherry Chambliss (Allen) of Xenia, Ohio, Julie Bryant (Roger) of Illinois, Gladys Nelson (Maynard) of Ohio, and Janet Camp of Salem; five grandchildren:  Aleyna Chumbley, Remington Chumbley, Corbin Cox, Delilah Camp, and Eli Camp, mother-in-law:  Connie Hardwick (Mike) of Xenia, Ohio, an aunt:  Ardella Willison, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father:  Thomas Henry Camp Sr., two brothers:  Thomas Henry Camp, Jr. and William Elijah “Billy” Camp, and a sister:  JoAnn Test.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.  Per the state mandate, masks and social distancing are required. 

The family asks that memorial donations be made to Weathers Funeral Home to help with burial expenses.
