Irene Turner

Irene Turner, 92, Scottsburg Indiana died on August 19, 2018 in Scottsburg.

She was born June 30 1926, in Cow Creek, KY to George Turner & Sarah Eversole Turner.

She was a homemaker who loved to take care of her flower garden, her vegetable garden, was an excellent cook, loved to crochet and was an avid reader of the Bible. She was a member of Macedonia Old Regular Baptist Church.

Turner was preceded in death by:  her parents, both of her husbands; John Turner and Reed Turner, a grandchild, brothers John K, Thomas, George, Donald and sisters Mabel Riley, Harriett Baker, and Ruth Turner.

Surviving are daughters Mabel (Dan Jr.) Hall, Barbara (Tim) Fleenor, Blanche Harbold and sisters Anita Keifer, Lillian Heller, Clarice Myatt, Golden Madden, 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great grandchildren, and 4 Great great grandchildren.

VISITATION:   Noon – 2 pm   Thursday  August 23, 2018, Macedonia Old Regular Baptist Church, Sebastian Branch (Breathitt County) Kentucky

FUNERAL SERVICE:    2 pm  Thursday  August 23 2018 at the church

BURIAL:  Buck Harold Cemetery, Jackson Kentucky
