Gayle M. Berryman age 72 of Salem passed away Wednesday, December 27 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.

Gayle was born May 27, 1945 in Connersville, Indiana the daughter of Leo and Nellie Powell Nicholson.  She was a retired LPN for St. Vincent Hospital in Salem. She was a member of Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville.

She is survived by her son:  Todd Berryman of Columbus, Indiana, her daughter:  Kara Blake (Brian) of Salem, a brother:  Kim Nicholson of Tallahassee, Florida, three sisters:  Myra Nicholson of Pekin, Rita Miller (Joe) of Jeffersonville, and Lori Hunter (Tom) of Greensburg, Indiana, and three grandchildren:  Alex, Zoe and Ella.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister:  Chera Nicholson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 9AM-time of service.
